At Almen, we believe you should feel completely confident before spending a rupee. Our refund policy is designed to be clear, fair, and as hassle-free as possible. This policy governs all purchases made on almen.in, processed through Razorpay or any other payment gateway on our platform.
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our product with a no-questions-asked 7-day refund policy for all new purchases. If you are unsatisfied with the AI fashion analysis or the app's performance for any reason — or no reason at all — you are entitled to a full refund.
The 7-day window begins from the exact timestamp of your original transaction, as recorded in our payment gateway logs. This is calculated in calendar days, not business days.
- 01Your refund request must be formally initiated within exactly seven (7) calendar days of the original transaction timestamp.
- 02This guarantee applies to your first Monthly Subscription, first Annual Subscription, or first Credit Pack purchase — whichever product you buy first on your account.
- 03Subsequent renewals, recurring billing cycles, or additional credit pack purchases are excluded unless mandated by applicable local consumer protection laws.
- 04Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase — UPI, card, or net banking.
If you purchased on Day 1 and email us on Day 7, your request is within the guarantee window. If you email us on Day 8, it falls outside. We recommend reaching out as soon as you decide — the sooner we receive your request, the faster we can process it.
Who Qualifies for a Refund
Here's a straightforward breakdown of scenarios that do and do not qualify for a refund under our policy:

- First-time Monthly plan, requested within 7 days
- First-time Annual plan, requested within 7 days
- First Credit Pack purchase, within 7 days
- Technical failure that prevented service access
- Duplicate charge due to payment gateway error

- Request submitted after the 7-day window
- Renewal charges on existing subscriptions
- Second or subsequent credit pack purchases
- Accounts suspended for ToS violations
- Unused credits outside the 7-day window
Subscription Cancellations
You have full control over your billing and may cancel your Monthly or Annual subscription at any time, without penalty. No cancellation fees, no exit interviews, no dark patterns.
- ↩When it takes effect: Immediately upon request, but your access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. You are never cut off mid-cycle.
- ✕Future billing: Once cancelled, you will not be charged for any subsequent cycles. Your account automatically downgrades to the free tier when the prepaid period expires.
- ≈Prorated refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days. If you cancel 15 days into a monthly subscription, you retain access for the remaining 15 days, but no refund is issued for that period.
- 🔄Reactivation: You can reactivate at any time by purchasing a new plan. Wardrobe data and analysis history are retained for 90 days after cancellation.
If you're cancelling because of budget concerns, consider switching from Annual to Monthly — or downgrading to Credits. We'd rather keep you on a plan that works for you. Email us and we'll help.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
To protect against platform abuse and ensure fairness for all users, we reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following circumstances:
- ⌛Expired window: Requests submitted after the 7-day guarantee period has elapsed, regardless of usage or satisfaction level.
- ⛔ToS violations: Accounts suspended or terminated due to a documented violation — such as uploading prohibited content or attempting to reverse-engineer the AI.
- 💳Used credits: Credit packs partially or fully consumed outside the 7-day window. Unused virtual credits hold no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged or withdrawn.
- 🔁Renewals: Automatic subscription renewal charges that processed after the initial 7-day guarantee has been used or expired.
- 🎁Promotional purchases: Purchases made at a discounted rate during a campaign are non-refundable unless specified otherwise in the promotion's terms.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe there has been a billing error, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly first at hello@almen.in before filing a chargeback. We respond to billing queries within 24 hours on business days, and most issues are resolved the same day — far faster than the 30–90 day chargeback process.
Important: Fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your Almen account and forfeiture of any remaining credits or subscription time. We actively dispute chargebacks with supporting evidence from our payment logs and this policy document.
Legitimate payment disputes — unauthorized transactions or duplicate charges due to a technical error — are fully supported. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
How to Request a Refund
To exercise your right under our 7-day guarantee, contact us through the channels below. Please include the following to expedite processing:

- 3The date of purchase and the plan or product you purchased
- 4A brief description of your reason (optional, but helpful for us to improve)

You'll receive a confirmation that we've received your request. If we need additional information, we'll ask at this stage.
Review by our billing team
We verify your eligibility against our policy. Clear-cut cases are typically resolved within one business day.
Refund initiated via Razorpay
Approved refunds are executed immediately through our payment gateway. You'll receive a confirmation from Razorpay.
Funds reflect in your account
Standard banking procedures require 5–7 business days. UPI refunds are typically faster (1–3 days), card refunds may take the full 7 days.
